Take That, Imelda Marcos!

Lili inherited a weakness for shoes while still in utero, undoubtedly because of Mommy's inability to steer clear of the Robeez website and the Nordstrom children's shoe department. A focal point of her nursery has always been the tiny mat in the corner, with baby shoe after baby shoe (and boot...and slipper...) lined up in a delicate row. Being raised as a Minnesota child, unfortunately, leaves Lili scant opportunity to wear anything other than her pink, fake fur-lined Uggs, despite the recent addition of these *adorable* "die-for-my-fashion" slip on shoes from Goody. Come spring, Ms. Lil will likely be sporting these hot little numbers with everything from dresses to dungarees. I also have my eye on the Goody "Hot Doggie" and "Vase". Or "Horse". Decisions, decisions.

The important thing is that whenever Lil has banged her head into the wall (which always looks intentional somehow), she gets to hold the "I don't feel good shoes." That means we let her hold these shoes and pull at that little red flower until the giant alligator tears have stopped and the flower has crinkled.
