Pa
Lili is incredibly fortunate enough to spend a large chunk of her week with the grandmas in her life, but she does not have the opportunity to see Grandpa (Mommy's dad) nearly as often. This is primarily due to a) proximity (that hour long drive can be...painful...at times, especially in the winter) b) my father's insistence on working the night shift and c) Grandpa's sheer terror at the thought of spending alone time with any person(s) unable to feed themselves, communicate in complete and coherent sentences, and walk the length of a room without stumbling in to at least five different toys and/or pieces of furniture. Nana did manage to drag him up here for a Tuesday Lili date recently, though, and they were fast friends before the morning oatmeal had been polished off. Such fast friends, in fact, that as Grandpa headed out to run some big city errands and Lili heard the front door shut downstairs, she pointed and said "Bye...bye...pa". That's right, Pa. 15 months and no verbal attempts at "Mommy", but ten minutes and a Palm Pilot later, we're all about the Grandpa.

Ok, this one just about made me cry. Pa does love his little Lili; could it be because she is a blue-eyed baby girl?
